The puppies and mom (Blossom) were found on the street in Corpus Christi, TX and taken to a very sad shelter there. When they were pulled out, the pups only weighed less than 1lb when they should’ve weighed 5-10 lbs. They were taken to a foster home and nursed backed to health.

The plan was for them to be transported up to Rhode Island to SAL (Save A Lab) where they will be placed in loving permanent homes. Lisa Pizzato’s job was to pick them up at Dixie in Tuscaloosa AL and get them to their next “leg” in Birmingham. Mom unfortunately is heart worm positive and is being treated now. She will live in a loving permanent home, too!
