Frankie Update
In 2011, the Daily Sun News published a story on an abandoned six week old pit bull-mix puppy. The pup, Frannie, had been dumped by a fire hydrant near the Pet Health vet office in Sunnyside, WA. Rebecca Roberts found a shelter on Camano Island that would take the pup, and she contacted Pilots N Paws to fly Frannie to her new future.
Recently, Kit and John Young sent the following update:
“Wanted to give you an update on “Frannie”. Her name is now Frankie, and she only spent a few days at the Camano Shelter before we adopted her on November 2, 2011. Frankie has earned her CGC and CGCA (Advanced) she also competes in Rally-Obedience, at the Excellent (highest) level, as well as AKC Agility, where she competes at the Masters (highest) level. She has yet to meet a person or dog she does not like.
She shares our home with two other rescue dogs, Rosie, a 10 year old Pit Bull and fellow agility competitor, and Rikki a 9 month old mixed breed who will soon be starting her agility training. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog than Frankie.
Thank you for what you do.”
