Red’s Return

Meet Red.  Red had some separation anxiety in her new home, and unfortunately, where she was living the neighbors would not tolerate any sort of adjustment period.  As all good rescues do, Arctic Husky Rescue was taking her back, but she had to get from near Denver, CO to Utah.

Several Colorado pilots offered to help, but they were waylaid by weather issues, plane issues & JOB issues, and the relay just couldn’t connect on the same day.  The coordinator, Monica, found an awesome ground helper in CO.  Brooklyn offered to drive over 4 hours each way. Wow!

Then Alan C. offered to fly the Grand Junction leg back to Utah (as he usually does).  After flying his first dog of the day, he flew to St George. (Opposite way!)  Then he flew over to pick up Red at Grand Junction and returned to UT.  Big thanks to all, including foster Shirley in CO for holding Red!

I’m not rich. I live in Erwin TN. I would love to go or adopt a dog that I could train to be a service dog. I have bad anxiety issues. Pets seem to make it better. My Husky passed from old age.i will rescue. I have plenty of room and I need a good smart female dog. Breed large. I like to hike in the woods. I have 4 cats. Dog would have to love cats. If you know of any who need a forever home. It’s me. Or if I can help you all in anyway I’d love to.
