Thank you Mike Peters For Going Above & Beyond!
I presented to a 3rd grade (71 students) about PNP. We watched the Radar’s Dream video and they saw slides of several rescue flights I’ve done. Here are a few pictures taken during the presentation.
The kids were super excited and loved the prizes (calendars) for answering questions at the end. Each kid got a coloring book and sticker sheet.
Interesting side note – one of the girls is having a lemonade stand fundraiser for the shelter I fly for a bunch. (small world)
Last week I had to travel out of town for meetings and lined up a PNP transport for the flight home. The weather was bad earlier in the week so I ended up driving. The pup still needed a ride so I did my first ground transport 🙂
We plan to be at the fly-in again this summer to continue spreading the word!
